ADEN DUALE, CABINET SECRETARY DEFENCE HOSTS AUSTRIAN MINISTER FOR LABOUR AND ECONOMY DR KOCHER Kenya and Austria have over the years enjoyed cordial relations and strong bilateral ties alongside being a key market for Kenya's flowers, coffee, tea, fruits and vegetables.  This morning, at the Defence Headquarters, Nairobi, Defence Cabinet Secretary had the pleasure to host the Austrian Federal Minister for Labour and Economy, His Excellency Dr. Martin Kocher who paid him an office visit. Hon Duale highlighted the need for the two countries to advance the already existing strong ties by developing a Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) to guide thier military partnerships. There exists huge potential of possible collaboration between Kenya and Austria among them military training and education, intelligence sharing, defence industry and technology transfer, military medical services, counter-terrorism and counter-violent extremism as well as research and development. MANYALA DAN HAS INDEED TRANSFORMED THE TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEPARTMENT  Mombasa County was prone to flooding even during little rains. It used to be total mess. Roads and drainages were all in dire state. The whole of CBD would be flooding. All the water ways were either blocked or did not exist.  Barely a year in office, Manyala Dan, CECM Transport and infrastructure had made a huge difference, improvements and transformation. He has turned around the fortunes of the county by implementing policies and measures geared towards making Mombasa County great. The roads are well maintained and the drainage systems improved to make way for the flood water.
