A progressive, youthful and ambitious man who embodies grace, dedication and sheer brilliance. He is a leader on a mission. A mission which seems farfetched but to him is fairly realistic. What's the mission this man has set his eyes,mind and heart on? Empowering women and youths who he refers to as the "backbone of any society"

Mzee Mwinyi Mzee, Chairman, Coast Development Board, youth matter crusader, community development agitator and education activist has been working with multiple women and youth groups in his endeavour to create long-term fiscal stability and progress within the community which he so much loves and cares about. The coastal community. 

Mr Mwinyi has targeted this demography because he is convinced that a society that empowers women and the youthful generation is a successful, responsible and productive society. 

"I have huge belief that when our mothers and the youths are empowered through programs aimed to address the challenges they face, we can have a society that is not only successful but strong families and responsible young men and women." Mr Mwinyi said. 

In partnership with government and private organisations, Mr Mwinyi aims to help our mothers gain access to start-up funds to create small businesses for women and youth while also helping nurture the impressive talents of our young people. 

Mr Mwinyi said he has alot of great programs in the pipeline and asked political leaders to get behind his programs meant to create a thriving and self-sufficient communities in a bid to have a developed Coast.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
