HON MOHAMMED ADOW HAS BEEN A REVELATION AND A TRUE LEADER WORTH EVERY SUPPORT  *Abdi Sama Timberlake* One year ago, the great people of Wajir South thronged to the polling stations ready to exercise their inalienable constitutional right to vote. They braved the scorching sun and long queues to cast a ballot for a candidate of their choice. Others trekking miles to the nearest station to usher in a new era of leadership based on solving issues. In unanimous voice and firm conviction, they chose to install a person who they viewed as the alternative to the previous members of Parliament they have been voting for before. CECM MANYALA ASSESSED PEDESTRIANIZATION OF BIASHARA STREET , OLD TOWN  In line with the Infrastructural agenda of Mombasa County Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, the Department of Transport and Infrastructure has embarked on ambitious plan to pedestrianise several streets across the county. Today, CECM in charge of Transport and Infrastructure Manyala Dan accompanied by Old Town MCA Abdirahman AnzaFresh visited and assessed progress of Biashara Street Road works, part of the biashara street Pedestrianization project.  Mr Manyala reiterated Governor Abdulswamad's commitment to develop the roads, sidewalks, drainages and other key Infrastructural areas to make Mombasa great. "Non Motorized Transport is key in our public transport plan" Said Mr Manyala 

CECM Mohamed Osman Visits Likoni to Assess the Impact the Impending Infrastructure Development will have on the Traders.

CECM TRADE VISITS LIKONI. MEETS WITH THE AREA'S TRADERS. Mombasa County CECM Tourism, Trade and Culture Mohamed Osman visited Likoni sub county as he assessed the impact the potential infrastructure development at the area will have on traders and business owners.  He held a meeting with traders in Likoni in regards to the upcoming road expansion in the area.  He said by bringing together the traders, whose businesses and livelihoods are intricately linked with the local infrastructure, the goal is to collaboratively chart a course that ensures the road expansion aligns with the needs and aspirations of the community while driving sustainable growth and progress for everyone involved.

Hon Duale, Cabinet Secretary Defence Hosts EASF Director

DEFENCE CS HON DUALE HOSTS EASF DIRECTOR  The Cabinet Secretary for Defence Hon. Aden Duale has today hosted the Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Brigadier Peter Njema who paid him a courtesy visit at the Defence Headquarters in Nairobi. The CS was briefed on the security situation in the region and the preparedness of the Force to execute it’s mandate of enhancing peace and security in the Eastern Africa Region. Hon. Duale reiterated Kenya’s commitment to continue promoting every effort aimed at ensuring a peaceful, stable and prosperous region. EASF is one of the multi-dimensional Forces of the African Standby Force (ASF) that comprises the military, police and civilian component.
