HON MOHAMMED ADOW HAS BEEN A REVELATION AND A TRUE LEADER WORTH EVERY SUPPORT

One year ago, the great people of Wajir South thronged to the polling stations ready to exercise their inalienable constitutional right to vote. They braved the scorching sun and long queues to cast a ballot for a candidate of their choice. Others trekking miles to the nearest station to usher in a new era of leadership based on solving issues. In unanimous voice and firm conviction, they chose to install a person who they viewed as the alternative to the previous members of Parliament they have been voting for before. They gave the mantle to Mohammed Adow. 


The people opted for change and refused to accept the status-quo. In their minds, their vote represented something they needed to be addressed. It was a show of defiance. They refused to settle for mediocrity and chose progressive leadership. 


When Mohammed Adow was announced as the winner, there was jubilation, dance and songs of triumph saturated the dusty air of Wajir terrains. However, Adow was never carried away. He knew the work ahead was huge and issues that has bedevilled the region needed immediate interventions. He hit the ground running. 

His reign commenced on the back of a biting hunger, famine and drought that was ravaging Wajir South and the entire region at large. He swung to action and immediately coordinated efforts to bring relief food to the suffering. All while 
Insistent on the importance of embracing farming to reduce the dependency of pastoralism.


While still reeling from the drought mitigating measures, a devastating cholera outbreak would hit Wajir South, sending panic across the constituency. Hon Adow moved quickly to provide leadership, presiding over the response to the nightmare. Medical teams were mobilised to salvage the situation and care packages availed to the affected families. The MP urged locals to make hand washing a habit and led by example by publicly ingesting the Cholera vaccine. 

Honourable Adow has campaigned on the premises of being pro-education leader and has shown his resolve and commitment by availing bursaries to bright students who hail from humble backgrounds.........

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
