MANYALA DAN IS PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A MAN DRIVEN BY THE URGE TO DILIGENTLY PERFORM AND DELIVER.


As we wrap up the year, it will be imperative to recognise the exceptional and exemplary person who has unwaveringly worked to help push the agendas of Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir. A man who has consistently shown excellent knowledge of the enormous job entrusted to him and effortlessly carried it out with zeal and determination.

He has outperformed himself. He has taken his duties very seriously and embarked on a mission to transform the Infrastructural sector and he did so flawlessly. 

In 2024 alone, many roads especially Access Roads have been upgraded to cabro standard. Indiscriminately. From Likoni to Kisauni. From Mvita to Changamwe. From Jomvu to Nyali. 

He has also dealt with the long-standing issue of drainage system. During the rains, the system held up and there was no flooding whatsoever. 

Our streets and neighbourhoods have been lit with installation of lights. Every corner of this great county now have fully operational security lights. 

Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir will be proud of the achievements made by this department under the wise leadership of Manyala Dan.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
