Everything Mohamed Shurie touches has inevitably turned into gold with myriads of stories of success and achievements under his belt. The current CEO of Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) is the epitome of gracious proffessional with the knack for excellence and symbolises thr exact definition of what a leader should be like; performance oriented and transformative. 

Shurie has consistently depicted the art of making informed decisions as he has been a mainstay in the annual list of the best performing civil servants in the country which further cement his reputation as an all-rounder with a healthy obsession to create agendas often meant to achieve phenomenon results. 

It was therefore not a surprise when he was named as the most impactful CEO in Kenya in a recent poll conducted by Microtrak Africa. .

Shurie has been relentless in pursuit of positive growth and his sheer dedication to ensuring sustainable management, use and conservation of the country's water resources has been hailed as exceptional. 

A hydrogeologist with over 32 years of experience in water resource management and services, Shurie has scaled the leadership ladder to become one of most revered management experts in the continent. A well educated and skilled with the technical knowledge to solve issues, his pedigree and the respect he wields both in civil service and political arena is unmatched. 

Mohamed Shurie is the CEO of the Water Resources Authority (WRA) in Kenya. He is a hydrogeologist with over 32 years of experience in water resource management and services. 

Education: Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, Bachelor of Science in Geology, and Executive Master of Business Administration.

Mr Shurie's work at the management level is a testament to the great leader he is. It's only a matter of time before his home town of Garissa county calls him. Maybe in a more pronounced and impacful capacity. Time will tell. But his train has left the station and the destination seems to be a promising one. 

For now, we can only speculate.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
