GARISSA BASED WATCHDOG GROUP RELEASE A DETAILED REPORT ON MPS PERFORMANCE 2024


The Garissa County Community Development Watchdog Group, an independent civic platform championing transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption efforts in the county, has officially released a comprehensive performance assessment of all six elected Members of Parliament (MPs) for the year 2024.

The Watchdog Group Chairman Hassan Aden Gumo said they apreciates MPs who demonstrated dedication and results in serving their constituents and encourages them to keep raising the bar.

He called residents to ask for information and their rights from the Watchdog Group. 

"We urge underperforming leaders to reflect on public feedback and take immediate steps to improve their service delivery, accessibility, and transparency" said Mr Gumo. 

The Chairman said they remain committed to monitoring leadership and governance in Garissa County and will continue advocating for a government that is by the people and for the people.
