Hon Duale Joins President Ruto for Launch of NYOTA programme in Garissa County

HON DUALE JOINS PRESIDENT RUTO FOR THE LAUNCH OF NYOTA PROGRAMME IN GARISSA COUNTY  Hon Aden Duale joined H.E. President William Samoei Ruto and the Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki for the Northern Kenya development tour, which began with the launch of the Garissa County Chapter of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Programme.  Supported by the World Bank, the initiative is expanding employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth aged 18–29.  In Garissa alone, 7,500 young people, including refugee youth hosted in the county, have benefited from KSh 375 million in grants, apprenticeships, digital skills training and certification of prior learning, making it the largest beneficiary cohort under the programme so far.
