DP RUTO WELCOMED LIKE A HERO IN GARISSA



Deputy President and the most popular candidate for the presidency Dr William Ruto and former Majority Leader Aden Duale brought Garissa county to a literal standstill as the former toured the area.

Women broke into songs and dance as a mammoth crowd welcomed Mr Ruto and later held public baraza before dishing out goodies to public school and college.

Hon Duale who is a staunch proponent and defender of the DP was in upbeat mood as Mr Ruto donated buses to the
learning institutions and voiced the region's support for Ruto saying that the pastoralist community will rally behind the DP in his quest to succeed Uhuru.

Boystown and Garissa Teachers college received a boost after they were handed a brand new bus courtesy of the DP.

Mr Ruto also addressed Al Mustaqbal Islamic University fraternity and vowed to support learning institutions with all his heart.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
