KENYAN GUARDIAN: Welcome Dr Matsanga. You have been vocal in your criticism of DP William Ruto, what informed of that decision since you have been big supporter of Ruto?


DR MATSANGA DAVID: When you choose politics of hate and division and undermine the same government and President you serve , you stop being a good person. You become the enemy of the people.

KENYAN GUARDIAN: You were actively involved in the DP Ruto's ICC cases and used your own resources to fight what you then called "Witch hunt" what went wrong?

DR MATSANGA DAVID: DP Ruto never thanked me. Even a simple Thank you. He associated himself with those who were fixing him. I have used my own resources to showcase the whole world how the Prosecution case was full of prejudice and not based on real facts. The civil society and other activists have been using the ICC for their own selfish interests. I have defeated both Ocampo and Bensouda.

KENYAN GUARDIAN: Daktari, you mean your issues with the DP is because of the aftermath of the ICC cases and not being appreciated?

DR MATSANGA DAVID: No. I am a man who can cater for himself. I am not a beggar. I am businessman with interest in different sectors including transport. When Ruto and his political friends started to disrespect the president who is also my good friend and brother, that's the time I decided to call out his hunger for power. He sits there smiling when his TangaTanga friends are insulting HE the president. He is fighting the same boss he is serving. Who does that?

KENYAN GUARDIAN: The 2022 elections are here with us. It's 2 horse race. Raila and Ruto. Who do you see is the right person to take over Uhuru Kenyatta.

DR MATSANGA DAVID: First of all , I have been vocal about elections. The current atmosphere doesn't allow an election which is peaceful to be held. Without the much needed reforms, it will be disaster. BBI was meant to bring unity foster coexistence peacefully and address the winner takes all mentality. However, I support Raila because of he is a reformist who will also safeguard the Legacy.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
