UNITED ACTIVISM TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS.
Hon Zamzam Mohammed's office team represented her at the launch of the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence Against Women and Girls. This is a global civil society-led campaign to end violence against women.

Hon Zamzam is currently serving on the AD-HOC Committee, which will charter the way forward particularly on NGAAF funds that is allocated partly in mitigating GBV acts against women and girls.
Her office collaborates with community-based organizations (CBOs) on interventions on GBV cases. A case in Bombolulu was settled in collaboration with Future Pillars Community Based Organization,a CBO working towards ensuring women empowerment and child education.
GBV touches not only women and girls but young boys as well.
Her office is currently enrolling young women and youth in skills training as a means of combating GBV.
Her office welcomes partnerships and collaboration to address GBV issues holistically as a way to ensure society eradicates GBV cases.
