IBRAHIM ABDALLA BASAFAR IS A MAN OF HUGE INTEGRITY. CONCOCTED PROPAGANDA AND FAKE STORIES WONT SWAY THE SMART MOMBASA PEOPLE 


Few years ago, Mombasa county Government was loosing huge amount of revenues and collections were dwindling due to cartels,brokers and massive evasion of tax payments. Illegal hawking and unnecessary traffic snarl ups were the order of the day. Mombasa residents were hugely inconvenienced by the utter lawlessness and something was to be done.

Then a sigh of relief and hope was restored for the great people of Mombasa county. 

When a youthful, no nonsense, energetic and intelligent man was placed at the helm of the Inspectorate, many thought the lawlessness and the dire state of affairs will continue and business will be as usual. Little did they know that Mr Ibrahim Basafar was determined to provide the much needed leadership to curb the run-away disregard of the law. 

He started to crack the whip and brought sanity back. He sealed all the loopholes and sent a stern warning to all the unscruplous individuals out to swindle the county and make it like a ungovernable town that their day's are numbered.

The aggrieved criminals have now embarked on a futile mission to tarnish his name through solicited and fake stories in the media to cast the hardworking officer in a bad light. They have been cornered and just like the drowning men, they are clutching at every straw to stay afloat. Mombasa residents are smart and won't fall for propaganda and concocted lies to depict Mr Ibrahim as corrupt. Its all an indication of a dying horse trying to make the last kicks.

One resident Ahmed Badawy said Mr Ibrahim Basafar is the most hard-working person in the county and those fighting are the agents of corruption who wants to swindle the Momabsa people. 

"Mr Ibrahim is a man who is go-getter and hard worker who never tolerates corruption ' he said

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
