HON ADEN DUALE; AS GOVERNMENT WE SUPPORT AND APPRECIATE COMMUNITIES AND RELIGIOUS INITIATIVES AIMED AT STRENGTHENING PEACE. 

As the Government, we appreciate and support communities and religious initiatives aimed at strengthening peaceful coexistence in multi-religious, multi-ethnic and multi-racial societies. And, freedom of religion is enshrined in our constitution. 

However, it is important as Muslims to exercise that freedom within the tenets of Islam. To realize success, Muslims in Kenya should be organized and coordinated to support the work of the Government on matters of security, extremism and threats of terrorism in the country.

The Muslim leaders, especially scholars, should guide the Ummah and speak publicly against such social ills.

Speaking at the inauguration of the 1st international SESSION OF SHEIKH ALI SUFI QIRAAT AWARD (Quranic competition) held at Sir Ali Sports Club, Nairobi. I challenged the Muslim faithful to be at the forefront in the war against terrorism and thin out pockets of hypocrites who taint the name and image of Islam.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
