BORANA COMMUNITY ENDORSED MAJOR DEKOW FOR GARISSA TOWNSHIP SEAT.



Hon Aden Duale In the company of Rtd Major Mohamed Barrow Dekow, the UDA Candidate in the Garissa Township Constituency by-election, met over 500 leaders drawn from the elders, professionals, women and youth from the Borana community.

They unanimously endorsed the candidature of Rtd Major Barrow.

They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
