The Executive has the Legislature as its right-hand man. When the two work together to push development projects and adopt viable remedies to our challenges, the country's wheel of progress spins to prosperity.

And, that is how President William Samoei Ruto opted to start the new year, 2023. With a team of leaders at different levels of governance, united for a common good; service delivery to the people.

I was glad to be part of that team attending a Cabinet Retreat with the leadership of the Legislature and the Council of Governors at the Fairmont Mt. Kenya Safari Club, Nyeri County.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
