HON DUALE: THE FIGHT AGAINST BANDITRY WILL BE FOUGHT FROM ALL FRONTS.


The fight against banditry in Northern Kenya which has now attracted the intervention of the Kenya Defence Forces will be fought from all fronts, including, if need be, a legislative approach.

Held a meeting with MPs, Hon. Kimani Ichungwah (Majority Leader of the National Assembly and MP, Kikuyu Constituency), Hon. Mohammed Dekow (Garissa Township) and Hon. Chege Njuguna (Kandara) at Parliament, Nairobi.

We discussed, among other things, the support of the National Assembly and Senate in giving approval for the full deployment of the KDF to play a lead role in fighting and ending banditry, should it come to that.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
