MOMBASA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT AND WHY IT'S THE MOST IMPROVED SECTOR IN ASN GOVERNMENT 


Excellent in Communication, full of compassion, fast and sound decision-making skills, rich in courage, its no doubt that Mombasa County Fire Department has seen a huge progressive change since Mr Ibrahim Basafar got on the helm of the department's leadership.

Today, the Fire Department is well known for its quick and swiftness in dealing with fire emergencies. This great transformation of this very important sector has seen many lives and properties saved through timely and effective response from the team headed by a very proffessional and enthusiastic young man Mr Basafar. 

A very compassionate man, Mr Ibrahim Basafar has brought together a dedicated team who are well trained in dealing with fire and other safety issues. Leadership is a very humanistic endeavor, and compassion is the ultimate way of showing others you are concerned about them. A compassionate leader models that characteristic to others through his actions, and, as a result, the staff at the Fire Department are performance oriented and passionate about their work

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
