MOMBASA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLAUDED AND FETED FOR THEIR DEDICATION AND EFFICIENCY 


Mombasa County Fire Department under the wise and efficient leadership of Director Ibrahim Basafar has been rightfully recognised and subsequently feted for their incredible services and expertise in dealing with fire and safety emergencies. 

The Fire Department has been on upsurge in the way they have been working timely and efficiently to curb and counter infernos and respond within a record time to save lives and properties. 

Because of their flexibility, professionalism brought by the man at the helm of the Department Mr Ibrahim, the Fire Department is now viewed as the one of the best and well managed county offices under the leadership of Governor Abdulswamad Shariff.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
