CUSHITE COMMUNITY IN MOMBASA COUNTY THANK THE GOVERNOR ABDULSWAMAD SHARIFF FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF MOHAMED OSMAN TO THE CABINET 


Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well. When we extend our sincere thanks and show gratitude to those who have had positive impact on us, we tend to grow together. Happily. Productivity is realised.

Today, the Cushite community in Mombasa County came together in unison and gave their utmost appreciation and absolute thanks to Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir for fostering unity, inclusiveness and fairness by appointing a member of the community to his cabinet. 

The community has reaffirmed their commitment and support for the Governor praising him for considering the contributions and impact of the Cushite community. They have categorically gave their gratitude to the Governor for appointing Mr Mohamed Osman Ali as the CECM for Tourism and Trade. 

The community vowed to rally behind the Governor to realise his visions, plans and dreams for the county.

In the words of the Legendary Maya Angelou, let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
