President William Ruto Presided over Commissioning of Cadets; General Service Officers and Graduate Officers

PRESIDENT RUTO PRESIDED OVER COMMISSIONING OF CADETS;GENERAL SERVICE OFFICERS AND GRADUATE OFFICERS 


The Cadets; General Service Officers and Graduate Officers, are the intellectual wing of the military. Presiding over the Commissioning Parade of the two units today, at the Kenya Military Academy (KMA), Nakuru, President William Samoei Ruto emphasized the need to invest in our military personnel and institutions.

He further commended the KMA Commandant Major General Fatuma Ahmed for enabling the institution run programs that have continued to churn out junior military leaders not just for the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) but allied countries such as Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.

Present during the ceremony were Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Robert Kibochi; Principal Secretary, Patrick Mariru; Vice Chief of Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General Francis Ogolla; Service Commanders, senior government officials, General Officers, Senior Officers, Officers, service members and their families.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
