Hon Miraj Abdillah Distributes Foodstuffs To Vulnerable Families in Mombasa County

SENATOR MIRAJ ABDILLAH DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO VULNERABLE FAMILIES IN MOMBASA COUNTY 

Nominated Senator Hon Miraj Abdalla has distributed foodstuffs and other amenities to almost 1000 families across 3 sub counties in Mombasa County in her bid to help the vulnerable members of the community and cushion them from the biting high cost of living in this holy month of Ramadan. 

Senator Miraj said she will continue to help where she can to ensure her people get help from the biting hunger as drought and famine led to dire state of living in the country.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
