African Maritime Administrations Conference Held in Mombasa County

THE 6TH AFRICAN MARITIME ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE KICKED OFF IN MOMBASA, KENYA 

The 6th Conference of the African Maritime Administration has kicked off in Mombasa with Kenya Maritime Authority Chairman Hamisi Mwaguya delivering his speech infront of hundreds of delegates. 


"Our Oceans are not mere bodies of water, they are the lifeblood of our economies, the path to our shared destiny and the thread that weaves the tapestry of our African Maritime Heritage. The Maritime Authorities are the Custodians of this Heritage" 

"We welcome all delegates for 49 African Countries Attending the 6th Conference of the African Maritime Administrations in the Mombasa, Kenya. Kenya Maritime Authority." Mwaguya said.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
