Department of Transport and infrastructure Mombasa County Deserves Commendation for the Exceptional Work

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE DESERVES TO BE COMMENDED FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL WORK.





Our infrastructure is what drives our economy. The wellbeing of a society is informed by how well their roads and drainage system has been developed. 

Thanks to a visionary leader in Governor Abdulswamad Shariff and his able CECM Transport and infrastructure Manyala Dan, our roads in Mombasa County have been given the improvement it soo well deserves.

From the major roads in the midst of the CBD to the relatively small roads serving the far flung areas like Likoni, Jomvu and Kisauni, almost every road in Mombasa is now in good state. Rain or no rain, they are safe and passable. 


Let's commend the exceptional job done by the Department of Transport and Infrastructure.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
