Were it not for my mother, I would not have grown from the herdsboy, strutting the dust and thistles of the North, into who I have become; the CS Defence. 

Today, as the World honours Mothers' for their unconditional love, unwavering support and the countless sacrifices, I am happy the story of my mother - as is of other mothers - is also the first of the thirty-two chapters of my book, 'For the Record'. 

It is for her that I dedicate all the proceeds from the sale of my book to charity. My little way of giving back to the community; just like she taught me. 

Your mother is a door of mercy that Allah opened for you. Don’t close it.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
