Hon Zamzam Mohammed Issues Millions of Uwezo Funds to More than 70 Women Groups

HON ZAMZAM MOHAMMED ISSUES MILLIONS OF UWEZO FUNDS TO 70 WOMEN GROUPS.

Mombasa County MP Hon Zamzam Mohammed has today issued Uwezo funds to more than 70 women groups in Nyali Constituency. 

Hon Zamzam who is the Uwezo funds patron has urged the beneficiaries to use the funds to help themselves and the society urging them to invest in small scale businesses to sustain their families.

"As the Patron of UWEZO fund together with the Nyali MP Hon Mohammed Ali we presided over the issuance of UWEZO fund cheques to 70women Groups amounting to 5.2Million." She posted on social media. 

Hon Zamzam added 

"Women should embrace real development and use the funds to better the economy of this country by investing in Small scale Businesses"

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
