MWENDA THURANIRA AND CANADIAN PARTNERS DONATE MATTRESSES AND OTHER LEARNING MATERIALS TO THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS 


Philanthropist, Real Estate mogul and one of the most vocal leaders on matters education Hon Mwenda Thuranira together with partners from Canada extended a supportive hand to thousands of bright but needy students from humble backgrounds benefit from multiple donations. 

Mattresses and other vital learning materials were distributed to the clearly elated and happy students who ululated and danced in unison in a moment so satisfying. 

Mr Mwenda, the Myspace CEO thanked his partners and urged the community to embrace education as a form of empowerment. He vowed to keep agitating for the welfare of the learners and improving education in the area.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
