KIZITO OPEYA: A TRUE DEFINITION OF A LEADER WHO SHOULD BE EMULATED BY ALL. 


If I am told to name one person who has rightfully earned the title of being referred to as a 'a true leader" , I will not even think twice about it. Its former Mkomani MCA Hon Kizito Opeya.

A man blessed with brilliance, a result oriented and driven by the urge to help and stand with his people. I am confident that he is destined for greater things.

Leadership is about empathy. It is about having the ability to relate to and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives. Opeya is a man endowed with great humility and a big heart. Kudos Opeya for the exemplary leadership you have shown over your time serving your people. .

All of the great leaders have had one characteristic in common: it ws the willingness to confront,face and address unequivocally the major anxiety of their people in their time. Kizito Opeya is one such a leader. This, and not much else, is the essence of leadership.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
