KMA Chairman Mwaguya Announces Plans to Visit Nyanza In-land Water Ways after Meeting with Senator Okiya Omtatah

KENYA MARITIME AUTHORITY CHAIRMAN MWAGUYA TO VISIT IN-LAND WATERWAYS IN NYANZA AREA




Kenya Maritime Authority Chairman Hamisi Mwaguya has announced his plans to officially visit port areas across Kenya in an ambitious plan to strengthen the presence of KMA. He will commence the process by visiting Busia County next month. 

He said this after he hosted Busia Senator Hon. Okiya Omtatah at Kenya Maritime Authority offices accompanied by a delegation from Busia County. 

Mr Okiya delivered a report submitted by 2000 residents on strengthening the presences of KMA in Port Victoria & Budalangi, Busia, as part of coordination & regulation of in-land Water Ways. Mr Mwaguya pomised to visit Busia this August to embark on that journey.
