Becoming a great leader is more about the inner qualities you possess than the title you are given. While a person may be in charge of managing people or heading a project, a genuine leader is one who can inspire others to accomplish something important.

Manyala Dan, CECM Transport and infrastructure has always shown glimpse of leadership since the onset of his teen years and all the way through school. His zeal and determination to achieve his set goals and in doing so creating an atmosphere of excellence around others is well documented. 

Today as he executes his mandate as the man in charge of Transport and Infrastructure to drive and actualize Governor Abdulswamad's agenda, I have no iota of doubt that he will deliver. We have already seen his transformative leadership since he took over.

Being a good leader is something you learn and perfect with diligence, compassion, persistence, and experience. That's what makes Manyala Dan's prospects even more appealing.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
