MAHAD SALAH HAS IMPROVED THE CONDITONS OF GARISSA LEVEL 5 HOSPITAL




Garissa County residents and the larger North Eastern region rely heavily on the Garissa General Level 5 Hospital for their medical treatments and needs. However, the hospital has been dogged and marred by incompetence and lack of basic medical amenities like painkillers which made it a shell of a building and a dead facility. 

However, upon the arrival of Mahad Salah as the chief administrator for the struggling hospital, the fortune of the facility made a turn around and positive changes were noticeable right away. 

Mr Mahad brought his vision and mindset which served as the foundation upon which the subsequent success of the hospital was built upon. He delved deep into issues that has bedevilled the hospital and came up with plans to improve the situation. 

Mr Mahad, albeit new to the role has absolutely been instrumental in transforming the dynamics, standards and the conditions of the facility and how things are run. He took the steering wheel and came up with concrete plans to ensure that drugs and other vital amenities are available. He has also provided the leadership to steady the ship which seemed to be capsizing few years ago.

Today, the Garissa level 5 hospital is way better and in a very competent hands thanks to the sober leadership of Administrator Mahad Salah.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
