Infrastructural Development Progress in Mombasa Must be Lauded.

INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS IN MOMBASA SHOULD BE LAUDED.
Infrastructure development plays a key role in stimulating economic growth of a city. Thus, the County Government of Mombasa shall continue to improve on the development of its infrastructure to ensure the smooth running of our port city. 

The Department of Transport and Infrastructure is in the process of ensuring the county is well lit to reduce cases of insecurity and maximize economic and social activities in all 30 wards

The Department is also spearheading the upgrading of the storm water drainage systems across all the sub-counties.

The efforts of the Governor and those in charge of managing the transport and infrastructure should be commended.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
