Karama-Ratna and Kitaruni Roads will Enhance Connectivity and Promote the Economy

KARAMA-RATNA AND KITARUNI ROADS COMPLETION WILL ENHANCE CONNECTIVITY AND PROMOTE THE ECONOMY 

The recently completed Karama - Ratna and Kitaruni roads will no doubt be a very significant step in easing the usual traffic snarl ups. The County Government of Mombasa under the wise leadership of Governor Abdulswamad Nassir had prioritised this roads in a bid to facilitate the smooth movements of goods and services. Kongowea, the biggest market in East Africa is situated at the heart of these roads.

This vital road network is critical in dicongesting Links & Fidel Odinga Roads. They are also alternative between Links Road, New Msa - Malindi Highway, Kongowea Market & Fidel Odinga Road.

This represents a crucial investment in the infrastructure of Mombasa County with the potential to greatly enhance and support local businesses. 

This fantastic work overseen by the industrious and effective Department of Transport and Infrastructure is among many other Infrastructural development being carried out across the county.

Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, commitment to improving the county's infrastructure is evident in the ongoing road works, within the county which are expected to significantly benefit the residents by enhancing connectivity and promoting economic activities. This is in line with ASN agenda for Mombasa

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
