Waziri Mohamed Osman Ali and His Visionary Approach Made Tourism Boom Again in Mombasa 

Mohamed Osman Ali, a technocrat with a vast knowledge of management, governance and planning has been phenomenon as County Executive in charge of Trade, Tourism and Culture docket under the wise leadership of Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir. He has not only been amazing in his endeavour to implement the Governor's tourism and trade agendas but has been effective in developing plans and policies aimed at resuscitation of the once ailing but lucrative tourism industry. 

Governor Abdulswamad was indeed not myopic but far-sighted when he entrusted this huge responsibility on Mr Mohamed popularly known as Zedco. He knew the importance of placing an extraordinary and well-versed individual will finally pay dividends. 

Couple of years later, the Department of Tourism, Trade and Culture is one of the best performing ones among the departments in the county. Because of the competent, capable and efficient way Mr Zedco had operated this docket, many positives and progress has been realised. 

Tourism is now booming and rightly so contributing to the local economy.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
