FOR KENYA TO MOVE FORWARD, SENSITIVE QUESTIONS MUST BE ASKED.

By Giggs Moja

Treasury CS, John Mbadi, during the burial of the mother to N.A speaker Wetangula, issued very sensitive, disturbing and yet TRUE remarks about the economic marginalization that has happened in this country over the past regimes.

Mbadi argues that money was borrowed to build roads, and only a certain region benefited from it at the expense of the nation at large. He says some people take minutes to get to their villages while others take days.

Mbadi insists that the said region MUST also allow other regions to benefit from their taxes.

I know very well that the timing of these sentiments is meant to paint the mountain region in bad light and to further the isolation agenda, but where is the lie?

For Kenya to move forward, such sensitive questions must be asked. Otherwise, we are wasting time.
