Do you know the Department of Transport and Infrastructure Mombasa County is the most corrupt, incompetent and the cash-cow of the Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir and his cronies? 

According to inside information leaked by a source in the Department of Transport and Infrastructure.....

The CECM is alleged to be frustrated by how the Governor and his family are micromanaging the department with tenders given to companies owned or linked to Abdulswamad. Millions of shillings are paid to these companies which their details we will share shortly.

Contracts for Access Roads upgrade are said to be inflated massively with the proceeds of these corrupt dealings lining the pockets of powerful people like the Governor's brother and the County Secretary. 

The Department has facilitated illegal contracts for more than 70 Access Roads tenders without following the proper rules and legal procedures. The work has been given to 5 investment companies all owned by people close to the Governor. 

200 Million has been paid to a company owned by the Governor's brother which in turn has sub-contracted another company (Bayusuf) for a stretch of road in Mvita. Another 157 Million has also been paid for another half kilometre road in Nyali.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
