CS DUALE OFFICIATE THE OPENING OF MASJID NUR IN NORTH HORR


Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale officiated the opening of Masjid Nur mosque in North Horr, Marsabit County. The modern mosque was built through the efforts of the Chalbi Da’wa Group, Turkish Hayrat Yardim and Kenya’s Muslim business community.

Completed after five years of fundraising, the mosque will serve as a place of worship and community development, opening just before Ramadhan. 

Duale pledged to support the construction of its ablution block, reaffirming his commitment to religious and social progress.

The event was attended by local residents, religious leaders and dignitaries led by Marsabit Governor Mohammed Mahmoud, Marsabit Senator Mohammed Chute, North Horr MP Adhe Wario, Former Treasury CS Amb. Ukur Yattani and Nema DG Mamo B Mamo among others.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
