Mahmoud Noor Continues to Drag his Feet as Elective Leadership keeps Calling Him
MAHMOUD NOOR CONTINUES TO DRAG HIS FEET AS ELECTIVE LEADERSHIP KEEPS CALLING HIM.
Mahmoud Noor, a well-known community work enthusiast, youth empowerment agitator and a well known organiser has seen his star rising and rising rapidly with his growing popularity often shadowed by his mellowed approach to fame; he doesn't want to be famous but be famous for the right course. Confusing isn't it? You are not alone.
Despite having the full backing of the young men and women of Mombasa county who want him to plunge himself into the murky waters of politics often characterised by betrayal, deception and upset, Mr Mahmoud, popularly referred to as Mentor 001 has steered clear of running for political office and has often rebuffed temptations mostly solidified by thousands of youth who has witnessed his great leadership capabilities first hand.
"Community work, youth empowerment and social activities has always been my calling " he says with a grin, the satisfaction of the exemplary work he has done mentoring thousands of youth he mentored boldly manifesting on his face. However, many see him as the ideal man who should be in parliament or Senate courtesy of everything he stands and fights for- empowerment and development.
Mr Mahmoud's name has over a period of time became synonymous to the empathetic, development oriented and transformative agendas he so ardently and staunchly agitates for. A combination of feats that would have placed him in parliament without a doubt.
However, as he still drags his feets to say Yes to the question of if he will ever vie for any elective seat, many can't help but admire the integrity, humility and leadership capabilities this man embodies as he continues to steer clear of politics immerse himself deep into community empowerment work.
