CECM Mohamed Osman Congratulates Tourism Industry Graduands

CECM MOHAMED OSMAN CONGRATULATES TOURISM INDUSTRY PROFFESSIONALS DURING GRADUATION 


CECM Tourism, Trade and Culture Mohamed Osman Ali attended the graduation of industry professionals who have successfully completed their upskilling training at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic. The training was sponsored by the Tourism Fund. 

Mr Osman said the program is a game-changer in ensuring Mombasa remains a world-class tourism destination by enhancing service quality and industry standards.

"By equipping our workforce with advanced skills, we are not just improving guest experiences—we are creating opportunities, strengthening our economy, and securing the future of our tourism sector" the CECM said.

He said KCNP continues to be a center of excellence in training, while Tourism Fund remains a key pillar in empowering the industry through invaluable support 

He Congratulared the graduates saying their expertise is the key to taking the industry to greater heights.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
