Hon Duale Hosts Health Stakeholders. Discusses Back-to-Work Agreement Framework

HON DUALE HOSTED MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS, PHARMACISTS AND DENTISTS UNION LEADERSHIP FOR RETURN-TO-WORK PROGRESS REVIEW. 


Hon Aden Duale, Cabinet Secretary, Health hosted the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) leadership, led by SG Dr. Davji Bhimji and Chair Dr. Abidan Mwachi, at Afya House to review progress on the Return-to-Work Agreement. 

Hon Duale reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to structured dialogue, mutual accountability and full implementation of the agreement.

"Recognizing healthcare workers as the backbone of quality service delivery, I emphasized their central role in the successful rollout of the Taifa Care model and the broader Universal Health Coverage agenda" the CS said. 

He added that the government remain committed to continuous stakeholder engagement to find sustainable solutions that ensure accessible, affordable healthcare for all.

He was joined by PS Mary Muthoni (Public Health & Professional Standards), Acting CEO Digital Health Agency Mr. Anthony Lenaiyara among other senior Ministry officials.

Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
