Garissa was once a promising County full of hope and expectations but today it lies in tatters and left in absolute mess. In order to restore the lost glory of this place, concerted efforts to give the mantle to a deserving leader as a Governor is required. No one is more deserving than MM Shurie.

They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
