GIGGS MOJA: ADEN DUALE DID NOT DESIGN THIS ROT. HE IS DISMANTLING IT
Consider the Nyandiwa hospital saga, which has been weaponised to malign him. The much-quoted KSh 19.9 million was paid between January and June 2025, meaning the trail began before his watch. Even more telling, Nyandiwa Level 4 Hospital exists in the official registry, albeit with glaring misclassifications such as being listed without inpatient beds. This speaks to a systemic failure in registration and accreditation—failures that pre-date Duale’s tenure, and which he inherited.
What happened when Duale took office? He moved decisively. He ordered the closure of hundreds of non-compliant facilities, downgraded others, suspended dozens of fraudulent providers, and froze dubious claims worth billions. That is not complicity—it is a clean-up. He is the one who slammed the brakes on a runaway train of corruption and malpractice, a train set in motion long before he arrived.
Those now baying for his blood conveniently ignore the chronology. They erase the fact that registration of facilities lies with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, and empanelment and payment with the SHA—processes that were already captured before Duale’s entry. To accuse him is to deliberately twist facts.
The truth is clear: Aden Duale did not design this rot; he is dismantling it. He did not loot; he shut the taps. If anything, the cartels fighting him are angry precisely because he has cut off their lifelines. The attacks are not about justice or accountability—they are a desperate attempt by the architects of the scandal to shift blame to the very man cleaning up their mess.
