HON DUALE GRACES A 3 DAY RELIGIOUS FORUM IN GARISSA COUNTY 


Hon Aden Duale graced the culmination of a three-day religious forum organized by the Abudwaaq community in Nunow, Garissa County.

The ceremony brought together community members, industry leaders and prominent politicians from the region to promote unity and spiritual growth. 

This year's event featured intense Quran recitation and supplication to the Almighty Allah, seeking protection and blessings for the sub-clan.

The gathering provided a platform for community leaders to address pressing issues affecting the Abudwaaq people, while also fostering dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders in charting the way forward.

The community also took the opportunity to appreciate the leadership of H.E President William Ruto and reaffirm their support for his two-term mandate.

Leaders present included MPs Maj (Rtd) Hon. Dekow Barrow (Garissa Township), Hon. Abdi Shurie (Balambala), Hon. Amina Udgoon Siyad (Garissa Women Rep), Former PS and Governor aspirant Amb. Abdi Dubat, former Governor Ali Korane among a host of former members of parliament and MCAs from Garissa County.

They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
