WAJIR NORTH ON THE RISE AND ON THE CUSP OF GREATNESS UNDER THE WISE LEADERSHIP OF HON SANEY

Wajir North is surely rising and has seen major improvements, transformations and progress in a rapid scale that has not only been astounding but awesomely impressive. When leaders set their goals, put their minds and hearts firmly into the noble agenda of implementing their pledges, great things are accomplished. 

Hon Saney delved deep into the responsibility of delivering timely service to his people. He had his focus. His priorities were to get things done and ensure development is realised. Water access, good schools, better roads and healthcare

WATER ACCESS 

Hon Saney's commitment to tackle water issues has been a consistent battle in which he engaged to win. Through his sheer will and total focus, positive results are being achieved. 

Recognizing the persistent challenge of water scarcity, Hon Saney has commissioned a solar-powered borehole at Sakuno Centre in Wajir North to provide residents with reliable access to this essential resource. Beyond meeting domestic water needs, the borehole will also support farming and improve livelihoods.

Over the past four years, the MP has successfully drilled four boreholes across various parts of Wajir North, reaffirming his commitment to expanding access to clean water and promoting sustainable development for the communities.

QUALITY AND ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION 

Education is the most crucial sectors in realising a successful, and very prosperous society. In the past few years, Hon Saney has embarked on a mission to address poor education quality, lack of school infrastructure and students bad performances in national examinations. He has built more schools and improved the standards of the existing ones.

-More classrooms at Fargadud Primary School under the 2024/25 Financial Year development program.

-Completion of Nyatta primary schools' administration block.

-The successful completion of Hushahuley Primary School

-Completion of Jajanely Primary School.

The completion of these schools is part of the many development projects currently being implemented through the Wajir North NG-CDF, all aimed at improving the education environment and well-being of the people.

INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT 

Hon Saney clearly understands that Infrastructural development enhances and improves movements of goods and services making businesses thrives and the economy boom. In that regard, the MP has been a great advocate of developing better roads network to ease movements of commodities. 

Thanks to his leadership,Oday –Bute–Danaba Road will be fully tarmacked, with the project receiving full government funding. Once completed, this road will enhance connectivity, boost trade, improve access to essential services, and open up new economic opportunities for the communities.

SECURITY AND SAFETY 

In matters security, Hon Saney initiated the construction of BUNA CIPU Houses to Accommodate Buna Sub-County Administrative Police (AP) Officers. The project involves the construction of suitable residential houses for Administrative Police officers serving in Buna Sub-County by Wajir North NGCDF. 

This will provide secure and decent accommodation for AP officers, improve their working and living conditions, and enhance their availability and effectiveness in maintaining security and supporting government services within the area.

Hon Saney has indeed delivered and will continue to serve the great people of Wajir North with dedication and distinction.

Those were top of his to-do list and he has ticked them all effortlessly. 

Good job and performances should be rewarded. When leaders deliver on their mandate meticulously, it should merit the case for them to continue uplifting the constituency. That's why Hon Saney deserves to be elected again to keep making the difference in the lives of the great people of Wajir North.
