HON MWENDA THURANIRA SAYS HE IS PASSIONATE ABOUT IMPROVING EDUCATION SECTOR IN ISIOLO COUNTY 

Mwenda Thuranira has been vocal in his endeavour to create amble environment for our students and is a well-known education activist in Isiolo County. He has been instrumental in helping students with scholarships, uplifting the infrastructural face of schools and even donating books and other learning materials for many learning institutions. 

In an interview with this website, Mr Thuranira said he is passionate about education and will always be ready to ensure Isiolo County thrives in the sector.

"Investing in Education is the key.Obviously, young people are the future but the quality of the future depends on the level of education not only of the future leaders but also of the future followers" Mr Thuranira said. 

He continued saying Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used in order to change the world.

"Education has always been the key to transforming ideas into projects, projects into enterprises but most importantly, education has been able to transform mentalities." Mr Thuranira reiterated. 

Mr Thuranira continued 
"Innovation, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal interactions are being developed through education. One of the reasons that hold a whole continent years back is the lack of proper education. "

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
