True definition of leadership entails the art of bringing about absolute positive change while having an impact on the lives of the people who elected you. In the midst of an era where leaders don't care about the welfare of the common men and women, one leader who has rightfully earned the right to be called "True Leader ' is the youthful and ambitious vibrant Ijara constituency MP Hon Abdi Ali Sheikhow. Indeed, he is some of the positive news that came out of the last general elections. 

In his endeavour to make Ijara progress, prosper and develop, this man has rolled up his sleeves buzzing to deliver on his mandate, given to him by the great people of Ijara. He has brought back the art of servant leadership. 

As per the resolute commitment to deliver on his promises, Hon Abdi Ali has embarked on a serious mission to make Ijara one of the best constituencies in Kenya. No wonder several polls shows his high popularity index. He has commissioned numerous priority based projects including : Ijara KMTC, Sangailu Ijara Special school, 3 fully equipped modern classrooms & 4 toilets with bio-digestor in Khalankal primary, 40M water project in conjuction with PGI, 4 classrooms & toilets for Masalani primary and celebrating One year anniversary for the free Secondary education in Ijara constituency.

That's not all yet. 

He has commissioned the construction of three new houses for Hulugho police station to enhance and foster safe and more secure environment for our security officers. The construction of Hulugho sub-county chiefs' offices which will serve as a hub for local administrative operations. The construction of two classrooms for Hulugho Junior Secondary School to provide conducive learning environment reinforcing the importance of education for all.

He also launched and officially laid the foundation stone for the construction of Sheikhow primary school to expand the educational opportunities for our growing young population ensuring a brighter future for the generation to come. 

This young man is a true revelation and a phenomenon leader who will only continue to make Ijara great.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
