YOWPSUD KICK OFF THEIR "JITAMBUE " MENTORSHIP SESSIONS IN KILIFI NORTH 



Youth and Women for Peace and Sustainable Development (YOWPSUD) are thrilled to kick off their “Jitambue” mentorship sessions with youth beneficiaries in Kilifi North under the Pamoja initiative ARIVE project funded by Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund through Act Change Transform. 

The sessions are designed to offer a holistic approach and support to young people’s socio-economic development. Through these sessions, youth are expected to enhance their personal and professional skills, boost their confidence and belief in their abilities.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
