Leadership is a nuanced dance of influence and inspiration. In the mosaic of success, a true leader emerges as a guiding light, steering both themselves and those they lead toward collective achievement.

Despite the difficult task of ensuring that the department of Transport and Infrastructure implements the agendas of Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, CECM Manyala Dan has vigorously and passionately taken the challenge head on creating a vibrant culture of immediately responding to the issues raised by the people. 

To him, it doesn't matter whether it's the break of the daylight or the dark pre-dawn dusk, when work calls he responds it immediately in a bid to address the issues.

Blocked drainage, waterways, bursted pipe, inoperative streetlights or any other issue that falls in his docket that may create inconvenience, he raises to the occasion, sending his team to immediately solve it.

During the rains that caused havoc across Mombasa, Mr Manyala was ever present and on the ground assessing the situation while mobilising the help needed. He has shelved his rights to rest in exchange of service to the great people of Mombasa county.

Governor Abdulswamad Shariff has got a man for the mission in Manyala.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
