MANYALA DAN CONTINUES ASSESSING OF ONGOING INFRASTRUCTURAL PROJECTS TO ENSURE IT'S DONE ON TIME. Mombasa County CECM Department of Transport and Infrastructure Manyala Dan continues with his visits and assessments of ongoing Infrastructural development across the county as efforts to improve conditions of all access roads, drainages and streetlights ramps up momentum.  Just a day after inspecting projects in Shimanzi, Manyala had another busy day as together with Hamisi Nyota Athuman they assesed Shree Enclave Access rd which connects Ziwa La Ngombe settlement via a pedestrian stretch through the estate to Links Road, Mombasa Malindi Highway & nearby public beaches. He acknowledged the need of including NMT infrastracture to the access road to cater for the huge pedestrian & cycling traffic that uses the stretch.  "Active transport remains a critical focus for Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir plan of iimproving public transport." PHOTO SHOWING A SCREENSHOT OF ARREST NEWS IS FAKE  This photo circulating on social media stating that Garissa County Governor Nathif Jama was arrested has beeen debunked to be the screenshot of a news clip during the arrest of former Governor Ali Bunow Korane. We can confirm Nathif has not been arrested and is freely discharging his duties as the Governor of Garissa.  Many social media users were duped and believed the grossly inaccurate and fake screenshot as authentic. This has caused massive hysteria.  Governor Nathif Jama contrary to some stories that he is on the run and avoiding apprehension from the anti-graft agents, is said to be working without a worry. The public are advised to desist creating tension by spreading false information.
