MANYALA DAN's WORK ETHICS IS SIMPLY UNRIVALLED 

Before Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir made the right choice, the correct decision and the noble move to pick Manyala Dan as his executive committee member for the Department of Transport and Infrastructure, many residents of Mombasa county had little hope. They have seen it all before. The issue of bad drainage systems, dilapidated roads and darkness due to dysfunctional security lights was the norm. 

The notion and the murmurs among the people was that the status-quo will be maintained. The problem dogging the county will continue. Roads will be in dire condition, drainages will continue to spill and darkness will forever loom on this vast tourism hub. 

But Manyala, popularly known as the Son, a determined person is at the wheels now to help the Governor deliver on Infrastructural development agenda. Saying the work he has done so far is exceptional is simply a gross understatement. He has been a transformative figure who prioritised delivering on his mandate. 

Couple of years down the line, Manyala is arguably and undoubtedly the best performing CECM not only in Mombasa County but in the country. The work that he has done and accomplished speaks volumes about his ethics, ideals and his determination.

TUDOR WARD AND THE SPILLAGE OF RAW SEWAGE INTO HOUSES POINTS TO POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.  The people of Tudor Four have been neglected by the County Government of Mombasa. They are up in arms over raw sewage spilling of into their houses as the drainages are yet be unclogged.  They said they have appealed to Governor Abdulswamad but he has so far ignored them. The sewage has submerged part of the road forcing pedestrians to look for alternative routes. "So the county government has preference of which area to help or not? Why is Tudor ward not getting the services we deserve? Salim Abdalla said. He warned the Governor that they will not vote for him again since he no longer treats all areas the same. The ongoing heavy rains has exposed the weaknesses of the County Government of Mombasa especially it's preparedness to tackle flood related issues.
