Governor Abdulswamad Lauded for the Infrastructural Development across County.

GOVERNOR ABDULSWAMAD LAUDED FOR THE ONGOING MPRESSIVE INFRASTRUCTURAL WORK SPEARHEADED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE 


Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has been lauded and commended by the Mombasa County residents for his impressive Infrastructural development across the county being spearheaded by the Department of Transport and Infrastructure. They termed the ongoing road works, drainages and security lights as a new daw of progress and thanked the Governor for his visionary leadership. 

Importance of Infrastructural development and projects to the growth of the community cannot be overstated. Infrastructure is the ultimate solution to myriads of issues. It creates connectivity and smooth movements of goods and services thus boosting the economy of the setting. Good roads, better drainages and well lit areas even have cost of commodities lower than other areas with bad Infrastructure.

Manyala Dan, CECM Transport and infrastructure Department Mombasa County reiterated the commitment of the County Government of Mombasa under Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir to invest heavily on Infrastructural development as promised during the electioneering period. 

"The Governor's exemplary leadership is self-evident. What we have achieved as a Department in the short period of time we are in office is honestly impressive. Roads works is going on across all the sub-counties in Mombasa. Just an example, Changamwe sub-county, we have worked on 10 roads. Most of them almost complete. Likoni, we have alot of work going on. Security lights have also been prioritised. Areas which had faulty or damaged security lights has also been mapped out and we immediately fixed " said Mr Manyala. 

Governor Abdulswamad has vowed to continue with the progressive work across all the sub-counties.
